Infrastructure Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme (England)
Our Infrastructure Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship combines online learning, classroom training and on-the-job experience to develop real world skills using innovative technology. Whether people are just starting their tech journeys or want to brush up on skills in a current role, perhaps people even want to change roles completely and make the leap into tech – this is the programme.
This apprenticeship opens up opportunities to develop and enhance digital skills, ensuring people have the grounding needed to become a skilled PC professionals, data defenders or cloud controllers.

Course Prerequisites
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
-
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
Job role suitability if already in employment:
To help you determine whether this programme is suitable for you or your employee you must be able to answer “yes” to the following questions.

Are you/your employee in a full time technical role (which means you/your employee’s daily tasks revolve around IT support activities rather than being mainly administrative)?

Do you or your employee solve various IT problems including providing remote support?

Do you or your employee do complex IT tasks – such as troubleshooting and fixing problems – not just simple tasks (such as password resets)?

Do you or your employee work with other people and therefore able to demonstrate a variety of communication skills in their role (face-to-face, remote etc.)?

Do you or your employee work with different types of devices (desktops, laptops, mobiles etc.) – including setting up, connecting, managing and troubleshooting?

Do you or your employee work across a range of technologies such as client operating systems, network devices, and cloud infrastructure?
